Parallax Online accepts work from high school students worldwide, and welcomes submissions in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and dramatic writing.  Submissions must be in English.  We will consider English translations; please submit in the appropriate genre category and label the piece as a translation, including the author's and translator’s name.  Please include a three-sentence bio written in third-person in your cover letter, as well as an email address where we can reach you.

We accept submissions September 5-April 30.  We accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.  We generally do not accept work that has been published elsewhere, but if you are interested in submitting a piece that has been published previously in your high school’s literary journal, please query and we may consider it.  Please send one submission at a time (for poetry, one submission can include up to three poems).
